*Note: This is book #2 in the Off-Campus series.

He’s a player in more ways than one…
College junior John Logan can get any girl he wants. For this hockey star, life is a parade of parties and hook-ups, but behind his killer grins and easygoing charm, he hides growing despair about the dead-end road he’ll be forced to walk after graduation. A sexy encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he’s worth a second chance.
Now he’s going to need to up his game…
After a less than stellar freshman year, Grace is back at Briar University, older, wiser, and so over the arrogant hockey player she nearly handed her V-card to. She’s not a charity case, and she’s not the quiet butterfly she was when they first hooked up. If Logan expects her to roll over and beg like all his other puck bunnies, he can think again. He wants her back? He’ll have to work for it. This time around, she’ll be the one in the driver’s seat…and she plans on driving him wild.

My Review:
Two words. John. Logan.
I loved Logan in The Deal and I loved getting to read his story. I admit I felt kind of bad for him in the beginning. Being in love with your best friends girlfriend must be terrible. Having to always be around them? Sucks. I really wanted to see how he dealt with it and who he would end up with.
I loved Grace and her cute, random babbles. They were always equally as cute as they were slightly weird. They were always, always entertaining though and Logan was always amused by them. I loved how she got nervous and always managed to say the wrong things at the most inappropriate times- I am like that some times. She was sweet and gave off this innocent vibe but she always stood up for herself and she was so freaking funny. I felt like I could sit with her and watch some action movies and we would totally get along.

Logan had a lot on his plate. I guess I was surprised because he seemed so carefree in the previous book. I admired him for keeping his head high even when he was so frustrated that he thought he might lose it. Despite that, I liked how he never took it out on Grace. Like he said- he worshiped her.

"I need you. I can't stand the thought of being without you. You're the last person I think about before I go to sleep and the first person I think about when I open my eyes in the morning. You're it for me, baby." - John Logan

He was always so sweet to her and he always made sure Grace knew just how much he cares for her. Granted, we all have our moments but he never took long to realize when he was a jackass and to his credit, he always did his best to make up for it. Even if it did involve a terrible poem- it's the thought that counts, right?

I loved Logan & Grace's story. Now I'll just wait around for Deans story because I am so, so very interested and eager to see who will tame the wild beast.
