*Book #3 in the Fall Away series.

Jaxon is the guy she’s supposed to avoid.

K.C. is the girl he won’t let get away....

K.C. Carter has always followed the rules—until this year, when a mistake leaves her the talk of her college campus and her carefully arranged life comes crashing to a halt. Now she’s stuck in her small hometown for the summer to complete her court-ordered community service, and to make matters worse, trouble is living right next door.

Jaxon Trent is the worst kind of temptation and exactly what K.C. was supposed to stay away from in high school. But he never forgot her. She was the one girl who wouldn’t give him the time of day and the only one to ever say no. Fate has brought K.C. back into his life—except what he thought was a great twist of luck turns out to be too close for comfort. As the bond between them grows, he discovers that convincing K.C. to get out from her mother’s shadow is hard, but revealing the darkest parts of his soul is nearly impossible.…

My Review:

I often felt dizzy while reading this book. There was so much going on and I didn't know what would happen next. I didn't know what Jax would do next because one minute he was one way and then another minute it was a complete 180. Whether he would try to be with her and keep her or push her away and fight with her.

It was always so obvious how Jax felt about her. How he watched her, noticed even the smallest things about her, protected her even when he didn't have to.

Both characters had a crazy past. A past that shocked me to the core. A past that some people let it transform them into something ugly. But they didn't. They both took their past and basically made it their bitch. They came back stronger and when they came together- they were invincible. They both had things they needed to learn and they learned from one another. They both needed to know that they were good enough because they were always treated like they weren't. They fit so perfectly well together but sometimes we don't realize just how much we love and care for someone until they are walking away. That's when it hits us that although we could probably survive without that person- you don't want it to come to that. You want them in your life because they love you despite all the reasons they have not to. You want them in your life because they make you feel whole and alive. They bring out the real you and they make you realize that you are perfect enough as you are.

I loved these two together. Even though sometimes I was stressed while reading the book. I wanted to grab them both by the ear, sit them together alone in a room an make them be all nice and cute to one another again.  This series just keeps me hooked and I can't help but to completely zone out when I read them. It was a surprisingly good read. I enjoyed the character development so much and getting to see them finally come together.
