Review: Until Jax by Aurora Rose Reynolds

Monday, October 5, 2015

Ellie Anthony isn’t looking for love. She isn’t even looking for a man, but when Jax Mayson insists on keeping her and her daughter safe, she’s left with no choice but to trust him. Now she just hopes she doesn’t get hurt when she falls hard for a guy who’s known for breaking hearts.

Jax Mayson knows that Ellie is his BOOM the moment he sees her. When he finds out she has a daughter, he realizes he wants a family, and he will do whatever is necessary to keep both of his girls safe, even if that means facing the demons from his past.

My Review:
This book never failed to surprise me. One minute I was laughing at Hope's silliness and the next I was a mess with everything else that was happening. I always knew Jax's book was going to be good, he is one of my favorite characters from this series. He didn't disappoint me at all. He was every bit of a sexy alpha as well as annoyingly sweet and I loved it. Ellie hasn't had the best cards in life dealt to her but she still managed to be such a caring, positive character who was an amazing mother figure to Hope.

The second half of this book had my heart constantly racing with anxiety and wonder as to what was going to happen next and not really knowing who the bad guy was only made it worse and yet- better. Some characters surprised me in the sense that they ended up pulling through and making up for their wrong doings in the past. The good thing is that things were never bad for too long. We got to see a lot happening in the other Mayson family members lives and I cannot wait to see how it all works out and who's story I will get to read all about next. Let's face it, this family is constantly going through some crazy stuff, I'm sure the craziness doesn't end here. I'm really looking forward to reading more about Sage as well as Ashlyn.
