Book Two in the Consolation Duet.

I fell in love with Liam only to be left shattered into a million pieces. Again. The idea of being without him cripples me but the reality is, he’s gone.

He doesn’t understand and I can’t make him.

If only he’d see the conviction behind my words—then Liam would still be here.

My Review
After finishing the first book in this duet, I rushed to get the second one. Consolation left readers with their jaws on the ground and a million and one questions, most of them starting with: HOW and: WHAT?! This duet also touches the topic of PCOS (PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome) which was amazing to me and gave me someone to relate to while also giving me a lot to think about. It was great and I loved how the story showed how difficult some things may be to those who suffer from it. It showed the heartache that Natalie experienced time and time again when trying to have a child- I thought that was very important but it was also important to show that although it makes it hard for some things to happen, it is never impossible.

"Loving you was never the issue. It's keeping you when you're not mine to have."
Liam Dempsey

I loved Corinne Michaels writing style. It was beautiful, relate-able and so heartfelt. This duet was incredibly beautiful. I had so many emotions running through me while I read this book and my thoughts were a complete mess. While I read, I tried to put myself in Natalie's position and there was never any doubt in my mind as to what the outcome was going to be. I loved seeing it all play out and wonder what was going to happen next or what Liam's next move would be. I loved how it all came to an end- I couldn't have been more perfect. I'm so glad I finally got to read this duet. I can't wait to read more from this author. I know there's a lot more where this all came from.
