Friday, January 1, 2016

Synopsis:
Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.

My Review:
I have never had a book make me feel so much before. In my entire life. I've never had a book that changed my perspective on so many things before. Especially my perspective in my own life. In the way I see myself. In the way I treat myself. In so many ways, this book has literally made me love myself in ways I always found so difficult.

November 9 is a must read. I know people always say that, so let me say it one more time. November 9 is a MUST read. As in, please go and get it because everyone needs this book in their life. These characters- they are life changing and complicated and so, so devastatingly beautiful.

I am pretty sure I broke my "sticky note/tag record" and I'm also pretty sure there is not one page without some sort of thing marked. It shocked me in more ways that one to a point that I couldn't hear a single thing that was happening in the world around me. I have never been so absorbed by a book in my entire life. Then again, it's Colleen Hoover- therefore i shouldn't be surprised at how much I was affected by Ben and Fallon's story. It was beautiful, it was breathtaking and it was unforgettable. I will carry this book, these characters and their story with me for the rest of my life.

I also wanted to talk about Crave Romance. I read the first half of November 9 just on the app and it was such a different reading experience to have. They had amazing audio files of the character reading his lines. They had pictures and videos that literally brought the pages of this book to life. It was amazing and I can't wait for the next book they bring out. I know that November 9 was their first and it was AMAZING. Can't wait to see all that this app has in stores and I honestly suggest it to lovers of romance everywhere.
