Double Review: Pure Corruption by Pepper Winters

"We met in a nightmare. The in-between world where time had no power over reason. We fell in love. We fell hard. But then we woke up. And it was over . . ."
She is a woman divided. Her past, present, and future are as twisted as the lies she's lived for the past eight years. Desperate to get the truth, she must turn to the one man who may also be her greatest enemy . . .
He is the president of Pure Corruption MC. A heartless biker and retribution-deliverer. He accepts no rules, obeys no one, and lives only to reap revenge on those who wronged him. And now he has stolen her, body and soul.
Can a woman plagued by mystery fall in love with the man who refuses to face the truth? And can a man drenched in darkness forgo his quest for vengeance-and finally find redemption?
"Some say the past is in the past. That vengeance will hurt both innocent and guilty. I never believed those lies. Once my lust for revenge is sated, I'll say goodbye to hatred. I'll find a new beginning."
She came from a past Arthur "Kill" Killian never forgot. She made him sin and made him suffer. She tugged him from the shadows and showed him he wasn't as dead as he thought. And with her resurrection came betrayal, deceit, and war.
But then they took her. Stole her. Imprisoned her.
Now Kill's carefully laid plans for vengeance are complete. He craves action, retribution-the blood of his enemies. War has begun. War is all they'll know until they've paid their penance. He will get her back-and rewrite their destiny . . .

Review: Ruin & Rule
I was about 5 pages in when I realized I had just gotten myself into. It was pretty much a mix of holy ---- this is amazing and oh my god this will ruin me, alright. This book kept me on my toes, that's for sure. It made me feel excited but anxious. I could feel my heart beating hard with every word I read. It was only about the 50% mark that I felt like I took a deep breath again. That's a good thing AND a bad thing. Bad thing because OH MY GOD WE ARE ONLY HALF WAY THROUGH- WHAT ELSE IS THERE?! The characters and the story and everything is just jaw-droppingly good.
Most of my questions were answered but for every puzzle piece fixed into place, another one went missing. It was kind of emotionally exhausting, so mysterious and I fell in love with the complexity and genius of it all. I can't believe it took me so long to FINALLY read a book by Pepper Winters. I feel like I just discovered chocolate.  It was amazing. Mind-effing-blowing and amazing. I don't know if my heart can survive Sin & Suffer but one thing is certain: I'm excited about it.

Review: Sin & Suffer
Holy crap, you guys. I have read a lot of MC books before but holy hell. Sin & Suffer has leaped its way to the top of my list. This book was crazy. There were so many things going on and some were even kind of hard to stomach. Cleo and Author have both been through hell continuously- placed there by the people they loved and trusted. It is entirely understandable their thirst for revenge- to make those who ruined their lives pay for what they have done. It was amazing. Cleo & Arthurs love for one another was pure and raw and the world (or the people in it) kept trying to not only push them but tear them apart. I am so unbelievable glad that I picked up these books. It has been a whole new experience for me and even though it's really different from the romance novels I usually read- it was all worth it and it made me add every single one of this authors books to my TBR. If you haven't started this series, please do. You will never regret it.
