The New York Times bestselling Driven series continues with a standalone story about finding love where you least expect it…

Behind the wheel, racing champion Zander Donavan is at the top of his game. But after too much excess in his personal life, he’s forced to step away. He needs to accomplish something all on his own—outside of his famous father’s shadow.

Getty Caster is running away from the abuse that clouds her past. She thinks she’s found the perfect escape—until she discovers a stranger in the beachside cottage she’d been promised. He’s undeniably sexy, but she’s there to heal. Alone.

Before long though, fighting with each other turns into fighting their attraction. And giving into desire sets off a chain reaction that has their pasts colliding. With an unexpected love on the line, can they overcome the fallout to build a future?

My Review
K. Bromberg certainly knows how to do one thing I always look for: Hook the reader. I mean, come on, that first line? That first line hooked me like no other book I have ever read. It was a huge "woah, now this, this is going to be epic" Holy hell, it really was. It was so sexy and the characters were so perfect for one another.
There were times where Getty had some flashbacks that made my heart break for her and god, Zander's dream had my heart thumping so hard and so loudly I thought it would beat straight out of my chest. Zander and Getty both are either struggling with events from their past, running from their past, or both. It was intriguing watching them connect and waiting for them to better themselves.
K. Bromberg got me hooked from the first line and made it impossible for me to do anything but lose myself in the book. I also particularly love how as the series goes on, we never fail to see the characters that started it all- that's so important to me. I absolutely loved this book- beginnig to end. K. Bromberg did an amazing job with her writing, her characters and her power to make the reader completely lose themselves between the pages of her books.
