Worth It by Linda Kage
The Forbidden Men series book #6- Knox's Book
Amazon Kindle [x] Amazon Paperback [x]

I fell in love once
It was amazing. She was amazing. Life was amazing.
I lived for each time I could see her, and nothing else mattered, not that our families were enemies, our time together was forbidden, or we had to meet in secret.
Our love could conquer all.
Until it didn't.
So I was ripped away from the love of my life and shoved into hell, forced to continue without her.
It shattered me, broke the best parts of me, left me permanently damaged.
Or so I thought.
Years later, I swear history’s trying to repeat itself because she’s back in my life, and I’m just as drawn to her as I was before. But I'm older and wiser now, and I know she should stay away from a worthless ex-con like me.
So, I will not let her in. I absolutely refuse to hurt her. I will keep her away.
Then again, sometimes risking your greatest fear to get to a smile makes everything worth it, and besides, I’m not sure I can resist her, anyway.
This is the story of how Felicity Bainbridge changed my life forever, starting one summer day long ago after I was forced to change a dirty diaper...
-Knox Parker

I feels so good to finally dive back into this series and its characters- I had missed them so much. The men of Forbidden might just be my favorite group, to be honest. Knox's story blew me away entirely. It actually broke my heart to read his story and all about his love for his City. Holy cow, Linda Kage has this amazing gift as a writer, she really does. Her writing is effortless and her plot twists leave you with your jaw on the ground and your hand clutching your chest. My god, what this author has put me through with this book- I can't even put into words.
Felicity and Knox go way back. They came from entirely different words and families who hated one another more than I thought possible. One thing this author amazes me with is how she is capable of making everything fit so perfectly. These characters are all connected to one another whether they are family or not. It was just amazing. Worth It was the one book from the Forbidden Men series that proved that to me. Linda Kage is a master of effortlessly connecting everything and making this perfect puzzle that leaves the readers in absolute awe of her and this series.
Let's just slow clap it out, okay?
*slow clap*
